Pearl Yacht metallic thread comes in a wide variety of sizes for machine embroidery and decorative hand stitching applications. It is available in rayon or nylon or polyester filament core which is wrapped with a finely-slit pure-silver metallized polyester film. Also available in both gold and silver tones.
3F(100 Denier or #90) is the thinnest thread suitable for very fine detailed designs and name embroidery on multi-head embroidery machines, as well as on industrial sewing machines. Available in silver and 4 shades of gold on 5,000 meter kingspools.
5F(144 denier or #60) is used for the same applications as 3F. Available in silver and 4 shades of gold on 5,000 meter kingspools.
8F(190 denier or #50) is available in silver and 9 shades of gold mostly for name embroidery . Available on 5,000 meter cones.
1G(240 Denier or #40) is the standard size thread which is most commonly used for machine embroidery applications. Available in silver and 8 shades of gold on 5,000 meter cones.
3G(480 denier or #14) is a heavy weight thread mainly for chain stitching and coiling on manual or computerized embroidery machines and also for decorative stitching on specialty industrial sewing machines. It can be used as decorative hand sewing as well. Available in silver and gold, on 1,000 meter cones.
5G(1125 Denier or #8) is for the same purposes as 3G.
3F×6(600 Denier or #15) is a uniquely twisted metallic thread made specifically for decorative hand stitching. Also can be used for decorative stitching on specialty industrial sewing machines. Available in silver and gold on 1,000 meter cones.
8F×6(1140 Denier or #8) is for the same purposes as 3F×6, except its gold colour is available in two shades.
BS.1(210 Denier or #45) is a tweed like combination thread. Black rayon and silver metallic are twisted together to give decorative embellishment a uniquely textured effect. Available on 5,000 meter cones.
BG.1(210 Denier or #45) is a black rayon and gold metallic combination on 5,000 meter cones.
Size #1(240 Denier or #40) is a very strong polyester‐core metallic thread developed specially for decorative stitching on industrial sewing machines. Available on 3,000 meter kingspool and in silver and 2 shades of gold.
Size #3(480 Denier or #14) is for the same purposes as Size #1. Available on 1,500 meter kingspools.

Stream lame is a low‐stretch, flat, non‐twist, highly‐reflective, film‐like thread specially developed after intensive research for use in embroidery machines. Smock #N5 is a 2‐ply mercerized cotton thread for use on multi‐needle smocking machines as a lay‐on thread for decorative embellishment. It also can be used on manual or computerized machines for coiling and cording work. Additional applications include hand stitch work and decorative edge finishes on overlock machines using it in the loopers. Available in 95 colours on 1,000 meter cones.
Smock #8 is a medium weight thread for the same purposes as Smock #N5. Available on 900 meter cones.

SPC-25 is a multi-ply mercerized cotton thread. It features a loose twist most suitable for decorative hand stitch work. Available in 160 colours on 800 meter cones. |
